The use of thermal barrier coatings enables you to manufacture parts and components that must function in high thermal atmospheres out of less expensive substrates, with no compromise on performance.

Our thermal barrier protection coatings, which include materials like zirconium oxide based ceramics, NiCrAlY, nickel based super alloys, nickel chrome silicon boron, and molybdenum, do not cause part distortion, warping, cracking, or any changes to the base metals. Many of our thermal barrier coatings meet Pratt and Whitney aircraft, GE and Rolls Royce turbine aircraft specifications.

Oxygen lance heads, protective tubing, and glass molds are just a few examples where the use of thermal barrier coatings have proven beneficial. Masking can be utilized to ensure the coating is only applied where specified.
